CRUSADER KINGDOMS DELUXE  is an updated reprint with counters instead of wooden pieces.  The game is for 1-4 players set in the era of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Crusades, where each player controls one of the Outremer’s main Christian or Muslim kingdoms. The goal is expanding the kingdoms through intrigue and conquest. 

There are four different games between the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Crusades. The game allows cooperative, competitive, and solitaire game play.
